Knit your first hat in 100 percent wool

Want to learn how to knit? Make your first project a cozy hat in our own Chunky wool yarn. The instructions are beginner-friendly, just like all our DIY-kits, and you don’t need any prior experience to get started. The hat is a great first project because you can watch it take shape without it taking weeks.

Chunky wool in pure wool

The yarn in the kit is Chunky wool, made from 100 percent wool. You get two skeins totaling 200 grams, which is just what you need for the hat. The thick yarn also makes the stitches large and easy to see, so you’ll quickly spot if something goes wrong while you can still fix it. Pure wool keeps you warm even when it’s windy, which is exactly what a hat should do.

Everything you need is in the package

The kit includes two skeins of Chunky wool, a circular knitting needle, written instructions, and a lovely cotton bag to store your work in. In addition to the written instructions, there’s a video tutorial in which our creator Rebecca knits the hat step by step, so you can pause, rewind, and work at your own pace while the technique becomes second nature. Once the hat is finished, you can reuse the cotton bag for future projects.

What are your store opening hours?

We have a physical store at Hornsgatan 73 in Stockholm that is open every week from Wednesday to Sunday:

I am a beginner, which product should I choose?

All our DIY kits are specially designed for beginners, so choose a product that you like and find useful. The simplest crocheted product we have is the "pot holder," and for macramé, the "macramé plant hanger."

What is your delivery time?

We ship all orders the next business day with Postnord and DHL. Deliveries usually arrive within 1-3 business days from when they are sent from us.

Where can I find patterns?

All our DIY kits include written instructions as well as a video tutorial on YouTube, but we also have a digital instruction page where you can find more products to create.
