Bamboo is a soft and wonderfully smooth yarn made from 70 percent bamboo and 30 percent cotton, making it especially suitable for crocheting dishcloths and bamboo pads. The blend creates a silky surface that absorbs water well and stays fresh for a long time, which is exactly what you want in items used every day in the kitchen and bathroom. Cleaning is easy: either machine wash at 40°C or simply use warm water and soap directly in the sink.

One skein goes further than you think

A 50-gram skein contains approximately 105 metres of yarn, which in practice means one dishcloth or several bamboo pads. The recommended crochet hook size is 3.5 mm, and the slightly thinner thread makes the stitches dense enough for the cloth to feel sturdy even when wet.
