Linen yarn for crochet and knitting that gets softer with age

MYO's linen yarn is sold in 500-gram packs and is made for those who want to create things that last a long time. Linen is incredibly durable and, unlike most other materials, actually becomes more beautiful with age. The more often the garment is washed, the softer it feels. Machine washing at 40°C is sufficient, making care easy whether you're making clothes or home textiles.

The thickness that fills the gap between cotton and tube yarn

The yarn is slightly thicker than a fine cotton yarn but at the same time thinner than our EKO Nano tube yarn, and that in-between thickness is what makes it so useful. The stitches have structure without the work becoming stiff, which makes it especially suitable for crocheted linen tops and tablecloths. The recommended crochet hook size is 5 to 6 mm, and the yarn works equally well for knitting and crochet.

Italian linen, spun in Finland

The raw material comes from Italy, while the yarn itself is made in Finland. It works just as well for a crocheted linen top or tank top as for tablecloths and other home textiles, and because it withstands repeated washing, it is also suitable for items you use frequently.

If you are working with several balls of yarn at once, a yarn holder can keep the yarn feed even, and if you want clear contrasts in the same project, the linen yarn pairs well with a thick yarn.
